Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Responds with urgency to emergency calls/work orders and executes assigned work orders.
• Inspects, identifies, and repairs complex mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Performs basic fabrication and welding tasks.
• Performs mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Detects and resolves problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests, and makes adjustments.
• Uses a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Troubleshoots and repairs other electrical equipment to ensure production, safety, quality, output, and reduce downtime on production lines in accordance with codes, regulations, and specifications.

Qualifications

• Advanced mechanical and technical skills.
• Adequate understanding of the company's manufacturing process.
• Effective communication and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Knowledge of arc flash machine maintenance, pallet jack, and forklift certifications.
