About the role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and facilities in a commercial setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and other mechanical equipment.
- Respond to emergency repairs and perform urgent maintenance tasks as needed.
- Inspect facilities for safety hazards and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance or related field.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using common tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing.

Pay
$18.50 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with some weekend work required.
