Job Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
- Conduct emergency and unscheduled repairs, prioritizing accordingly.
- Execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing tasks, including testing, maintenance, and repair of plant and/or office components.
- Visually inspect both the interior and exterior of the Sealing Devices’ campus on a routine basis and conduct maintenance when necessary.
- Provide weather-related support, including shoveling and snow blowing during winter months to maintain safe and accessible facilities.
- Complete Maintenance tracking system requests by completing tasks as assigned and appropriately documenting resolution.
- Report quality problems to applicable supervisor.
- Follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written and recommend improvements as necessary.
- Complete any other task/activity assigned by supervisor or manager within the scope of the maintenance function.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per Sealing Devices’ Quality System.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- An associate’s degree in electrical-Mechanical Systems Maintenance or related field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance or service technician position.
- This position utilizes mechanical and electrical skills and is responsible for troubleshooting, testing, schematics reading, and performing basic math calculations.

Physical Demands
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8–12 hours per shift).
- Regularly required to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and products up to 25–50 pounds.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling, assembling, and operating machinery and tools.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and arms.
- Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to hear machine sounds, alarms, and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment.
- Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, crouching, twisting and climbing to load/unload materials and maintain equipment.
- Must be able to work in an environment with noise, vibration, and varying temperatures, while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
