Job Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Inspect equipment and identify potential maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders as assigned.
  • Install, assemble, and test new equipment or replacement parts.
  • Follow All Company Safety Procedures, Including Lockout/tagout Requirements.
  • Maintain tools, maintenance areas, and spare parts inventory in an organized manner.
  • Collaborate with production and leadership teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Absorb general facility maintenance, including lighting, plumbing, and building repairs as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work overtime or flexible hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and automated equipment.
  • Welding and fabrication experience.
  • Forklift and scissor lift certification.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces or at elevated heights when necessary.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely.
  • Ability to distinguish colors, sounds, and visual indicators related to equipment operation and safety.
  • Work Environment Manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to moving machinery and industrial equipment.
  • Regular exposure to noise, dust, heat, and varying temperatures.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe shoes.
  • May require occasional overtime or weekend work to support production needs.
