Job Summary
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Inspect equipment and identify potential maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders as assigned.
- Install, assemble, and test new equipment or replacement parts.
- Follow All Company Safety Procedures, Including Lockout/tagout Requirements.
- Maintain tools, maintenance areas, and spare parts inventory in an organized manner.
- Collaborate with production and leadership teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Absorb general facility maintenance, including lighting, plumbing, and building repairs as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to work overtime or flexible hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or a related field.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and automated equipment.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Forklift and scissor lift certification.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work in confined spaces or at elevated heights when necessary.
- Manual dexterity and ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely.
- Ability to distinguish colors, sounds, and visual indicators related to equipment operation and safety.
- Work Environment Manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to moving machinery and industrial equipment.
- Regular exposure to noise, dust, heat, and varying temperatures.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe shoes.
- May require occasional overtime or weekend work to support production needs.
