Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs
  • Complete minor electrical repairs including switches, outlets, and lighting
  • Perform plumbing repairs including toilets, sinks, drains, and fixtures
  • Repair drywall, sheetrock, and complete painting projects as needed
  • Troubleshoot basic HVAC issues and complete preventative maintenance tasks
  • Maintain pool and spa equipment and assist with water chemistry monitoring
  • Replace light bulbs and fixtures in guest rooms and common areas
  • Repair flooring, ceilings, walls, doors, and other building components
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Auxiliary responsibilities include assisting with exterior upkeep, including snow removal when necessary
  • Identify and report maintenance issues and preventative needs
  • Follow all safety procedures and hotel standards

Requirements

  • Experience in building maintenance, hotel maintenance, or similar role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and general repairs
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use ladders safely
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Weekend availability as needed

Schedule

30–40 hours per week
Flexible schedule based on hotel needs
Year-round position
