Maintenance Technician – RISE St. Augustine (Build-to-Rent Community)

$24–$26/hour

A resident submits their first service request in a brand-new home. Everything is still fresh — expectations are high. How that request is handled sets the tone for how they’ll experience living here. That’s where you come in.

What This Role Really Is

This isn’t just about completing work orders. In a new community, maintenance sets the baseline:

• How quickly issues are resolved
• How well things are cared for
• How residents feel about their home

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Completing service requests efficiently and with attention to detail
• Troubleshooting maintenance issues and delivering lasting solutions
• Performing preventative maintenance across homes and community spaces
• Supporting the overall appearance and functionality of the property
• Communicating clearly with residents and team members
• Helping ensure readiness of homes for move-ins

• A reactive-only position
• A “check the box” maintenance role
