Maintenance Technician
About the role
Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The position is located at Belleair Place and Bayside Court, our residential communities in Clearwater, FL 33756. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm, with an alternating on-call weekend rotation required.
Key Qualifications
- Two or more years of maintenance experience in a residential community environment
- EPA I & II or EPA Universal certification
- Experience with Yardi property management software
- Valid Driver's License
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus but not required

What You'll Do
- Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
- Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
- Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
- Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
- Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
- Solicit educational opportunities for personal growth and development
- Aid in the property preventative maintenance plan
- Maintain curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
- Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
What You Bring
- Education: High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience, or Groundskeeper experience
- Proficiency: Proficiency in maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and more
- Knowledge: Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
- Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
