Thursday - Monday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
OFF - Tuesday Wednesday

Compensation

$32.60 per hour

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in a residential or hospitality environment
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work
  • Professional licenses/certifications are preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must have excellent knowledge of administrative functions, review of vendor proposals if/when needed, work in collaboration with the Resident Manager.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as required

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general repairs and maintenance in residential units and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall work
  • Respond promptly to service requests and work orders, ensuring timely and professional completion
  • Conduct routine inspections of building systems and report deficiencies to the Resident Manager
  • Aid in preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of equipment and systems
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, workshops, and storage spaces
  • Support building operations, including assisting porters and other staff as needed
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, building policies, and union guidelines
  • Provide courteous and professional interaction with residents at all times
