About the role
Quickparts is hiring a Maintenance Technician to ensure optimum operational performance of systems, production machinery, and facility equipment. This is a highly active role where you will be deeply embedded in our operations—executing repairs, maintaining a high standard of building appearance, and supporting a preventive maintenance program designed to minimize breakdowns and maximize production.
Responsibilities
- Ensure optimum operational performance of machinery and facility equipment
- Drive hands-on preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Provide rapid response for emergency and unscheduled repairs
- Serve as a safety-conscious collaborator on the production floor
- Be a key contributor to extending equipment life and reducing repair expenses
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; advanced technical or college training preferred
- 2+ years of related industrial maintenance experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong familiarity with troubleshooting, configuration, installation, and repair of manufacturing equipment
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, plus furnace and temperature control system troubleshooting
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including welding and cutting torches
- Basic experience reading pneumatic diagrams and blueprints (Basic PLC knowledge is a plus)
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Strong problem-solving ability and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership for equipment performance and facility condition
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines with multiple interruptions
Qualifications
- Specific vision abilities required including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate common manufacturing machinery and hand tools
- Moderate exposure to hazards, extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, moving mechanical parts, and vibration
- Must speak clearly in English and be able to hear at normal speaking levels
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting, configuration, installation, and repair of manufacturing equipment
