Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintenance/Installation, Configuration Support and Troubleshooting for: Linux and Windows based PCs, Video cameras, lighting, and controllers for image collection systems, Radio Frequency System (RFID) readers, Vehicle Sensors such as Inductive Loops, Treadles, Optical Separators, etc., Local and Wide Area Network equipment
• Monitoring and Performance Monitoring of system performance both on-site and remotely.
• Ensuring systems performance is maintained within specifications.
• Optimizing performance within system specifications.
• Service Agreements: Providing responsive field and/or remote service for all assigned equipment.
• Completing routine preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Supporting the Operations Project Manager in meeting the needs of the client.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: Degree or Diploma in Electronics is considered an asset, not a requirement. Military training in electronics or equivalent. Combination of training and job-related experience.
• Work Environment: Required to work outdoors in all weather conditions, sometimes extreme. Successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record and background checks, as required. Work at heights up to 40 ft utilizing bucket trucks, ladders, or other means. OSHA Certifications required may be required.
• Maintenance Experience: With Toll collection systems, Military Electronics fields such as Avionics, Communication, etc., PC/Server Service, RFID System Service, Security and Surveillance System Service.
