Maintenance Technician

About the role

Property Management, Inc. (PMI) is a stable and growing employee-owned management company based in Lancaster, PA, managing over $4 billion of real estate assets and serving over 30,000 customers and 360 clients. PMI is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities

- Assist with resident work orders in apartments. - Assist with turnover of apartments. - Perform grounds/landscaping work as needed. - Conduct light electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs in apartments. - Handle appliance repairs. - Provide customer service. - Perform salt/snow removal duties. - Rotate on-call shifts in the Lancaster, Lititz, Akron, and Reading areas. - Eligible for an on-call bonus. - Prior residential maintenance experience preferred but not required. - Maintain a working cell phone. - Exhibit excellent customer service and sales skills. - Possess a valid Pennsylvania Drivers License and reliable transportation.

- High School Diploma or GED. - Valid PA Drivers License and reliable transportation. - Prior residential maintenance experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. - Must have a valid PA Drivers License and reliable transportation. - Must be available for rotating on-call shifts.

Skills

- Strong customer service and sales skills. - Ability to perform light electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs. - Knowledge of basic appliance repair techniques. - Ability to perform salt/snow removal duties.
