Maintenance Technician

About the role

Productivity, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support high-precision CNC machine tools and automation systems at customer facilities throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites throughout Iowa to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of CNC metalworking machines
• Perform machine installations and setup
• Perform adjustments and repairs of spindles, drives, slides, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, electrical peripherals, and other items
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Calibrate, adjust, and replace components to ensure precise machine performance
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers and internal teams

Requirements

• 3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong understanding of servo systems, ball screws, spindles, and control systems (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, experience helpful)
• Technical training or certification in mechatronics, electro-mechanical systems, automation, robotics, industrial maintenance, fluid power, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel/drive locally to customer sites, with 4-6 overnights per month
• Adequate driving record

• Compensation: $30 - $39/hour, DOE, plus incentives - annual performance & salary reviews

Pay

$30 - $39/hour DOE
