Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to safely maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment at the Clinton, MO plant.

Shift

Shift: 6p-6a on the 2,2,3 schedule (train on days 6a-6p for about 2 months before moving to nights)

Pay

Pay: $22.66-$31.72 depending on experience

Essential Duties And Tasks

• Positive and collaborative attitude
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and good housekeeping guidelines
• Follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment and meet OSHA safety requirements
• Identify and understand customer requirements
• Maintain complete familiarity with production and support equipment
• Perform project work as assigned
• Complete all paperwork such as work orders, parts usage sheets and misc. logs as required
• Know all safety requirements for Lock Out/Tag Out, Hazard Com. Std. And equipment specific safety procedures
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Hazardous waste handline/shipping

Skills And Abilities

• Experience in troubleshooting electrical panels
• Experience with 480v 3 phase systems, 24v control PLC, relay logic, drive knowledge
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow complex troubleshooting instructions and identify parts from equipment maintenance manuals
• Physically capable of moderate to heavy transferring of objects up to 100 pounds
• Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting on equipment
• Ability to access areas above head levels and work with both hands simultaneously
• Ability to receive, comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions
• Possess a positive attitude and be able to work without supervision in a team environment
• Ability to operate all plant production equipment
