Key Responsibilities
- Uses hand tools, power tools and delicate testing equipment in performance of duties
- Completes basic maintenance procedures with minimal supervision
- Complete complex Maintenance with limited supervision
- Completes maintenance request work orders for regulated and un-regulated systems
- Performs routine checks/inspection routes. Records equipment readings and changes chart paper
- Effective documentation of Preventive Maintenance and Calibration under the GMP, development and research umbrella
- Complete Equipment Activation following established procedure
- Schedule self-performed work assigned at beginning of month and due by end of month
- Schedules and escorts contractors through facility for routine deliveries or inspections. Ensuring they complete activities per procedure or agreements
- Recommend facility improvements to meet OSHA safety, ISPE or FDA guidelines
- Create maintenance procedures, and update existing procedures to match best practices and lessons learned
- Identifies and orders spare or replacement parts for equipment utilizing inventory management system
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent, advanced technical certification preferred
- 2-4 years’ experience in industrial maintenance supporting a manufacturing facility, preferably in a cGMP related environment
