Essential Duties
- Performs routine inside/outside painting;
- Mows, prunes, and performs other landscaping tasks;
- Moves furniture;
- Makes minor repairs to buildings and systems;
- Operates power equipment, mowers, and automotive equipment;
- Performs routine maintenance and upkeep of mechanical equipment and appliances;
- Aids with delivery and pick-up of materials by the Receiving Department;
- Performs routine custodial duties as needed;
- Observes safe working conditions;
- Maintains professional appearance.
Additional Duties
- Position may be required to open campus for daily operations, requiring work schedule flexibility.
- Availability for after-hours support, including evenings and weekends, may be required on occasion.
Typical Qualifications
- Must have high school diploma or GED;
- One (1) year of experience;
- Valid state driver's license;
- Forklift operator certification or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Basic knowledge of maintenance trades (carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical);
- Demonstrate a mechanical aptitude and be able to use tools and equipment necessary for the job;
- Basic computer skills include e-mail, web-based training, online forms and requests, as required;
- Can follow written and oral instructions.

- Physical Demands: Continuously talk or hear, frequently stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grip, or feel with hands, type/repetitive movement, occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, occasionally sit. Frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Working Conditions: Indoor environment, outdoor environment, noise, extreme temperatures, vibration, moisture and/or humidity, dust, fumes, gases, electrical hazards, mechanical hazards, burn hazards, sharp objects/tools.
