Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and building systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues
- Assist with installation, setup, and modification of manufacturing equipment
- Conduct inspections to identify potential equipment or facility issues before they become major problems
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in compliance with safety policies and regulations
- Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency
- Respond promptly to emergency repair needs
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Previous Conveyor experience
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, AC motors, and variable frequency drives

About the Role
The 1st shift Facilities Maintenance Technician works in cooperation with DC General Manager and the Maintenance Supervisor to perform the maintenance of equipment and facilities of an automated distribution center.

- Technical proficiency
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Ability to hear, read and comprehend, write, and communicate
- Physical strength to manually lift certain items (routinely requires the ability to lift 50 pounds but may require the ability to lift up to 100 pounds)
- Ability to work at heights up to 30’
