Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections across school facilities
- Maintain building grounds, equipment, and tools to ensure operational readiness
- Address and resolve maintenance requests promptly to prevent safety hazards
- Support snow removal, landscaping, and facility upkeep throughout the year
- Travel between assigned locations to provide maintenance and facilities support as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience in general maintenance or repair services
- Extensive drywall installation, repair, patching, and finishing experience required
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between regional school sites
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
