Maintenance Technician

About the role

Morgan Properties is now offering a $1000 sign-on bonus for a Maintenance Technician to join their team at a 292-unit apartment community in Rochester, NY. This position offers the chance to create a safe, well-maintained environment for residents while working alongside a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and other maintenance-related issues
• Perform preventative maintenance to help protect and preserve community assets
• Ensure the interior and exterior of the property are maintained in accordance with company standards and compliance requirements
• Respond to service requests in a timely manner while providing a positive resident experience
• Keep residents and team members informed through clear, professional communication
• Support the overall appearance, functionality, and upkeep of the community

Requirements

• Active, valid driver's license and personal vehicle
• Hvac / EPA / CFC certification preferred
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay

Base Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Paid rotating on-call participation required
Must be available and prepared to respond to emergency situations as needed
Schedule subject to change based on business needs.
