Maintenance Technician

Senior Buyer

• Key Responsibilities:
• Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
• Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations
• Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities
• Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organisation
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers
• Prepare reports and updates as and when required
• Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules
• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications
• Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships
• Conduct research for new components and suppliers
• Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues

Requirements:

2 Senior CAD designers

• Your tasks:
• Create CAD models and construction drawings using CATIA and/or Siemens NX
• Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to understand and implement technical requirements
• Support the development and optimization of sealing systems for various automotive applications
• Conduct analyses and tests to ensure the performance and reliability of developed products
• Document construction processes and results according to internal quality standards
• Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure the feasibility and quality of designs
• Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, products, and technologies

Your profile:

• Experience of minimum 5 years in a similar position in automotive industry;
• Completed technical training or degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a related discipline;
• Demonstrable experience in CAD design, CATIA V5 and/or Siemens NX , in the automotive industry;
• Knowledge with PLM as 3D EXPERIENCE and/or Teamcenter is advantageous
• Thorough knowledge of relevant construction standards and procedures;
• Good understanding of technical concepts and requirements in the field of sealing technology;
• Self-responsibility, commitment, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment;
• Excellent German and English skills;

Injection Molding/ Press Operator

• Main Responsibility:
• Lacing compound through strip and into feed throat
• Placing rubber profile inserts (attaching parts) into molds and placing plastic and/or metal inserts into mold as specified
• Monitor molded spliced sections per established quality expectations
• De-flash parts as needed
• Ensure product is stored properly on shop containers/carts and properly identified
• This position will require the ability to run 1 or 2 injection molds at same time

Production Worker

• Main Responsibilities:
• Use hand tools to surface finish, de-gate parts, tab parts, cut, notch and drill, etc.
• Clean parts with specified solutions, dremel parts, inspect slip coat surface finish and inspect non-slip coated rubber surface finish
• Inspection of all parts for surface finish, slip coat, tape, pull tabs, trimmed surfaces and detailing

Extrusion Assistant

• The Extrusion Operator has the primary responsibility in the day to day product process flow at the extrusion line, in their absence, the Extrusion Assistant will then step-up and perform the day to day product process flow.
• The primary function is to produce the products within specification while performing the necessary duties to operate and maintain the specified equipment. Ensure proper materials are used and set screw and profile temperatures. Ensure proper water flow to extruders and temperature controllers. Set hot air oven temperatures and microwave profile. Set proper puller and drive speeds appropriated to design profile. Align and utilize proper equipment, brushing machine, cooling trough, etc. Set-up and operate trace ability printer and operate Pixargus and set-up, start, maintain and properly secure in-line coating applications. Set-up and string sup-straight media as required and utilize and prepare proper packaging. Ability to set-up, mix components (paint), maintain spray systems and quality standards with minimal scrap. Ability to change gun components as required and the ability to maintain spray fluid levels and clean the entire system and replace hoses. Maintain, clean and assemble and disassemble dies properly. Responsible for Extrusion line to run with minimal scrap levels and startup and die changes to run smoothly and timely. Assist in screw changes and help and assist the Extrusion Operator and Extrusion Rubber Feeder at all times. Must be able to PE weld, set-up plasma unit and mix and apply flock glue, know all aspects of the flocking machine, including but not limited to set-up, operating, filling and cleaning. Must inspect and pack flocked profile and do on-line flock testing.
