About the role
Maintenance Technicians are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities. They perform a variety of tasks including troubleshooting circuits, aligning mechanical components, configuring computers, and maintaining printers.
Responsibilities
- Measure voltage and current accurately and safely to troubleshoot circuits
- Align bearings, shafts, and drives; adjust tensions of belts and chains
- Develop and maintain maintenance schedules for devices
- Analyze cards and chips to replace faulty components
- Troubleshoot network systems and cabling
- Configure and troubleshoot IBM compatible computers
- Understand and utilize "I2CARE" principles to communicate effectively within the organization
- Improve quality and efficiency on the production floor
Qualifications
- 1+ years of facilities engineering experience
- High school diploma and equivalent
- Electrical: ability to measure voltage and current, work with various circuit types, read and evaluate electrical schematics, and troubleshoot PLC functions
- Mechanical: ability to align and adjust mechanical components, identify and replace worn parts, and work with pneumatic circuits
- Computer: ability to analyze cards and chips, troubleshoot network systems, and configure computers
