Responsibilities
- Maintain critical building systems—including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing—while proactively addressing maintenance needs to support a high-quality learning environment.
- Conduct regular hazard inspections and support emergency preparedness protocols.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA standards and school policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in building engineering, facilities maintenance, or a similar role.
- Expertise: Demonstrated ability in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics; Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) is preferred.
- Knowledge: Local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA standards and school safety policies; ability to conduct regular safety inspections and address hazards proactively.
Compensation and Benefits
