Maintenance Technician

Location: 550 Veterans United Dr. Columbia, MO 65301

Pay Range: $27 per hour

About the role

Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems in a critical call-center environment. Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs. Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems. Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade-school diploma
• 2–3 years of relevant experience
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, walk, stand, and climb stairs/ladders
• Experience analyzing information and applying standard practices to solve problems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills and a curious, proactive mindset
