Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be an essential part of keeping our production and facility equipment operating safely and efficiently. You’ll handle a mix of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and improvement work to reduce downtime and keep operations running smoothly.

Main Tasks

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on key production equipment, including hydraulic presses, filtration units, chillers, and compressors.
  • Inspect, service, and monitor equipment performance using vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and oil sampling to prevent unplanned downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems (Allen Bradley & Siemens preferred), including drives, sensors, conveyors, and tooling.
  • Support equipment installations and startups — aligning motors, calibrating sensors, and working with Engineering and OEM partners during commissioning.
  • Maintain and repair facility systems such as HVAC, RO/DI water, chilled water, and compressed air; perform light facility maintenance as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures (LOTO, Arc Flash, confined space), complete hazard assessments, and participate in safety audits and corrective actions.
  • Record maintenance activities in CMMS (SAP, eMaint, or similar), update schematics and SOPs, and help manage spare parts and tool inventory.
  • Communicate equipment issues promptly, join daily tier meetings with Production and Engineering, and help train new technicians on standard maintenance practices.

Education and Experience

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in industrial maintenance with advanced knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Certifications: PLC programming, HVAC, or electrical certifications are highly valued.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting ability with PLCs, automation, and control systems.
  • Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Proficient in CMMS (SAP, eMaint, or similar) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions, confined spaces, and at heights with proper PPE.

We Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and opportunities for ongoing professional development.
  • A team-oriented environment where your technical expertise directly contributes to our success.
