Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Complete routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, equipment, and appliances
- Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests and guest service needs
- Maintain property safety by inspecting and repairing locks, doors, alarms, lighting, and other safety systems
- Auxiliary support with pool/spa operations (if applicable), including chemical testing and equipment maintenance
- Support other departments and prioritize tasks
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of completed work
- Maintain supply inventory and communicate needs for tools, parts, or equipment
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and all local/state regulations
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, building operations, or facilities experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills and a guest-focused mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical labor as needed
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends or evenings
- EPA or other maintenance certifications are a plus but not required
