Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on production equipment and facility systems.
- Diagnose malfunctions using testing equipment, technical manuals, and schematics.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and meet production goals.
- Replace or repair defective components such as motors, sensors, bearings, valves, and belts.
Qualifications
- Educational background: High school education or equivalent.
- Experience: 2+ years of maintenance or industrial technical experience.
- Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and/or electrical systems, ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals, proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Preferred: Technical certification or vocational training (electrical, mechanical, industrial maintenance), experience with PLCs, drives, sensors, and automation systems, welding, fabrication, or machining experience, familiarity with CMMS software.
