Maintenance Technician
About the role
Lippert is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role supports operations and production, focusing on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of various equipment.
Responsibilities
- Request support from other Maintenance Techs and Managers as needed
- Diagnose and resolve issues with production welders, torches, saws, and metal finishing equipment
- Maintain and install production hoists
- Maintain and resolve issues with overhead roll doors
- Maintain and resolve issues with other operations/production equipment as directed
- Operate fork trucks and aerial lifts safely and proficiently
- Perform maintenance electrical tasks, including troubleshooting and moving circuits
- Perform maintenance mechanical tasks, including troubleshooting and rebuilding equipment
- Implement and sustain 5S standards for good housekeeping
- Follow safety rules and policies
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks to set standards
- Work as part of a team to achieve company goals
- Read and interpret manuals, prints, and measurements
- Meet production goals and deadlines
- Operate appropriate equipment including repair tooling, arc and MIG welders, band saws, acetylene torches, tape measures, etc.
- Lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds
- Operate lift trucks or tractors as necessary
- Solve problems effectively
- Show tact and diplomacy in interactions
- Prioritize tasks and adapt to changes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in machine operation and repair
- Welding competency and knowledge of welding systems
- Lift Truck Operators License (preferred)

- Basic hand and power tools

Pay
$XX.XX per hour
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 1st shift. Some mandatory Saturdays.
Supervisory Responsibility
This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.
Physical Demands
- Regularly talk and hear
- Very active role requiring 98% standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders
- May need to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
Travel
Travel to secure necessary parts or tooling may be required.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience/Education in machine operation and repair preferred
- Welding competency and knowledge of welding systems preferred
- Lift Truck Operators License preferred (training available)
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time hourly position. Monday - Friday, 1st shift. Some mandatory Saturdays.
