Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including lighting fixtures, plumbing, and general building infrastructure.
- Assist with electrical troubleshooting and minor repairs under supervision.
- Support general mechanical repairs, carpentry, painting, and basic HVAC maintenance.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
- Perform general grounds maintenance, including snow removal, landscaping, and exterior upkeep.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies while performing duties.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to support warehouse operations and facility improvements.
- Cross-train in other maintenance areas such as material handling equipment (MHE) and refrigeration systems for career growth.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous hands-on experience in building maintenance, electrical work, plumbing, or carpentry preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and general facility maintenance.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Certifications: OSHA, electrical, or HVAC certifications are a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform tasks in a cold storage environment.
