Maintenance Technician

Job Highlights

We are seeking outstanding individuals to join the maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician. Your role will involve ensuring the safety and attractiveness of the living environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Regularly walking throughout the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety
• Completing and documenting work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Director, including maintenance and repairs for the building, grounds and equipment
• Following troubleshooting, reporting to the Maintenance Director any parts or supplies needed to complete repairs
• Aiding the Director with completion and documentation of inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and overseeing work performed by outside vendors
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Previous experience in a related trade or position, preferably with expertise in electrical, HVAC and repairs and/or maintenance
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of service and delivery requirements, as required
