Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
• Maintains and troubleshoots basic power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods and materials
• Maintains and troubleshoots basic relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components—photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow
• Ensures that all employees are in compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations and other company-related policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and experience in repairing and maintaining conveyors and powered industrial machines.

Physical Demands

• This position requires lifting up to 50 pounds; regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head; occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds; engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists; ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
