Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a talented and team-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our Balfour Riverfront Park community. Located at 1500 Little Raven St, Denver, CO 80202, we offer senior living nestled in the heart of Denver. Our commitment to integrity, respect, and a customer focus guides our work environment. Shift: 8 AM to 4:30 PM | Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the interior and exterior systems and machinery of the community campus as directed by the supervisor
• Diagnose and repair problems in such areas as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features (pools, spas, etc.) and waste management systems
• Complete assigned service requests
• Perform turn-key work as required to ensure vacant apartment homes are rent-ready in a timely manner
• Assist with organizing and prioritizing service requests and general maintenance tasks
• May supervise the work of other associates and outside contractors

Requirements

• High school graduate preferred
• One to three years’ experience in maintenance service work orders and property maintenance
• Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications (not all JDs)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

Special Requirements/Certifications

• Technical training or HVAC certification is desirable
• Skill in patch, texture and painting is desirable

Pay and Benefits

Pay: $22-$25/hour (depending on experience)
