Maintenance Technician

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance including lighting, minor electrical work, plumbing repairs, and basic building repairs
• Support preventative maintenance activities for building systems and facility equipment
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controller systems required, including ability to troubleshoot automation issues, read ladder logic, and support secondary operations equipment
• Conduct routine inspections of building conditions and identify maintenance or safety concerns proactively
• Maintain warehouse infrastructure including racking, workstations, office setups, and facility layout changes
• Absorb and coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs, maintenance, and facility services
• Troubleshoot and resolve general maintenance issues in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and company policies
• Maintain organized maintenance records and communicate completed work as needed
• Respond to daily maintenance requests across assigned facilities
• Support general facility appearance and operational readiness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2–5 years of facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or industrial maintenance experience required
• Experience working in warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environments strongly preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building systems
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-on problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
