Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities

  • Miscellaneous Maintenance & Carpentry
  • Grounds upkeep and snow removal
  • Interior painting
  • Janitorial to keep our community looking impeccable
  • Responding to work orders in a timely manner
  • Cleaning/Maintaining common areas
  • Communicating professionally with residents when fulfilling maintenance requests
  • Work as a team to ensure apartments are ready for all move-ins and maintain our communities to the highest standard
  • All other duties required to create a great living environment for our residents

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid Driver's License
  • Time Management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Dry walling including painting and carpentry
  • Working knowledge of plumbing
  • Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures

Preferred but Not Required Experience

  • Experience in multi-family housing
  • Boilers knowledge is strongly preferred
  • HVAC certification strongly preferred
  • CPO Certified or willingness to get certified
  • Chiller knowledge

Working Conditions

  • This position will cover our properties in Morris, MN.
  • Hourly Full Time On-Call

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Driver's License, time management skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team setting. They should also have experience in dry walling including painting and carpentry, working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, and be willing to obtain certifications such as HVAC certification, CPO certification, and boilers license if not already obtained.

  • Physical stamina for manual labor
