Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Plumbing troubleshooting
• Painting/drywall
• Air filter change outs and coil cleaning/washing

Qualifications

• General woodworking and repair knowledge
• Understanding of fire panel operation and ability to respond in an alarm condition
• Basic plumbing/repairs
• Basic trouble shooting skills for kitchen and restaurant equipment
• Basic electrical repairs and ability to identify/perform breaker resets
• Ability to learn the energy management system and adjust temperature

Physical Demands

• Standing, walking, kneeling, bending for extended periods of time
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Making repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists
• Expressing or exchanging ideas verbally and perceiving sound by ear
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders
• Occasionally, regularly, frequently moving objects (lifting, pushing, pulling, balancing, carrying) up to 10 pounds
• Turning or twisting body parts in a circular motion
• Tolerating exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment
• Traveling via auto or airplane for long periods of time
