About the role
This is a hands-on, multi-craft maintenance position supporting a highly automated dairy facility. The role focuses on ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operation of production, packaging, and utility systems across a 24/7 operation. It offers the chance to work with advanced automation, robotics, and pasteurization systems in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot production, packaging, and utility systems
- Ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operation of automated dairy equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of instrumentation
- Read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and electrical drawings
- Work with PLCs, VFDs, pumps, conveyors, separators, pasteurizers, and sanitary process systems
- Support ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and wastewater systems (experience a plus)
- Uphold food safety standards and continuous improvement practices
Requirements
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food/beverage preferred)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and automated packaging equipment
- Ability to work independently on a 6pm-6am shift
- Safety-conscious mindset
