Maintenance Technician

Your Job Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is seeking Maintenance Technicians at the Marmaduke, AR facility. The team is committed to innovation and environmental stewardship, providing durable packaging solutions to various markets.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test machinery or equipment, diagnose electrical problems, and perform necessary repairs
• Dismantle defective machinery and equipment and correctly install reconditioned, new, or repaired parts
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery or plant equipment
• Install and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine
• Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
• Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment
• Plan out and install plumbing assemblies to maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic/pneumatic equipment
• Communicate effectively with team members

Requirements

• 3 years or more industrial maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working with a computer, tablet, or smartphone

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field
• Industrial Maintenance Certification
• Experience with PLC

Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a loud/noisy, industrial, high-volume environment

Pay

$24.25 - $31.00 based on experience
