About the role
Maintenance Technician – Murfreesboro, TN
Responsibilities
- Supports production packaging and processing operations
- Sanitation and participation in startup, changeover, and shutdown of operating equipment
- Works overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency events
- Operates in a 24/7 environment
- Uses technology in a leading facility
- Collaborates with experienced teams to learn and gain skills
- Installs, maintains, repairs, and replaces machinery and equipment
- Identifies and troubleshoots mechanical issues
- Provides technical support and leads equipment troubleshooting
- Initiates and participates in root cause analysis
- Performs preventative maintenance
- Engages in continuous improvement initiatives
- Affords training new employees
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school education or GED
- One year of experience in manufacturing maintenance or industrial maintenance
- Technical degree in industrial maintenance or engineering preferred
- Working knowledge of PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing production environment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace
Qualifications
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, twist for extended periods
- Able to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environments
- Able to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery
- Able to adhere to grooming requirements for a food manufacturing environment

Pay
$31.66 per hour up to $34.17 per hour based on skillset and experience
Schedule
- Second shift: 2:50pm - 11:20pm
- Third shift: 10:50pm - 7:20am
