Maintenance Technician

About the role

A Maintenance Technician will assist the Manufacturing Engineer in all Excellerate locations with maintenance tasks. This role requires a combination of technical skills and hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, line/cell layout and movement, fabrication, installation of specialized tools, equipment, and material handling devices used for manufacturing.
• Assist cell work teams with work station design, fabrication and implementation of manufacturing processes, and improvements.
• Will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing tools and equipment.
• Will assist the Facilities Technician with building repair and upkeep as needed.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineer with design, start-up, and application of equipment and tools.
• Create equipment inspection and repair schedules for preventive maintenance program.
• Train employees on proper and safe use of equipment.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 5 years maintenance or related experience, 2 to 3 years metal fabrication experience, and 1 to 2 years welding experience.
• Travel: 0-25%
• Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6am-6pm, Monday through Friday. Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited: nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The Maintenance Technician works between the hours of 6am-6pm, Monday through Friday. Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited: nights, weekends, and holidays.
