Responsibilities
- Efficiently execute all daily preventative maintenance and repairs in Meat and Seafood Production Rooms, Warehouse and Product Storage Coolers/Freezers, and Dock and Logistics areas.
- Avoid downtime and ensure quality standards are achieved.
- Assist at all Fortune Wisconsin locations.
- Maintain well-designed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Proactively analyze and plan for future needs.
- Communicate and coordinate with Operations Production Manager, FSQA, and Department Production Supervisors.
- Maintain safe and conducive environments in production, storage, common, and maintenance areas.
- Participate in Continuous Process Improvement Initiatives, Company Goals, and Platinum Standard Customer Satisfaction.
- Occasional travel including potential overnight stays may be required.
- Identify new strategic vendor partners and maintain existing relationships.
- Timely request quotes, prepare analytics, and verify invoices from outside vendors.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Able to stand for 8 hours a day.
- Able to bend at the waist repeatedly.
- Mechanically inclined.
