Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Efficiently execute all daily preventative maintenance and repairs in Meat and Seafood Production Rooms, Warehouse and Product Storage Coolers/Freezers, and Dock and Logistics areas.
• Avoid downtime and ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Assist at all Fortune Wisconsin locations.
• Maintain well-designed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Proactively analyze and plan for future needs.
• Communicate and coordinate with Operations Production Manager, FSQA, and Department Production Supervisors.
• Maintain safe and conducive environments in production, storage, common, and maintenance areas.
• Participate in Continuous Process Improvement Initiatives, Company Goals, and Platinum Standard Customer Satisfaction.
• Occasional travel including potential overnight stays may be required.
• Identify new strategic vendor partners and maintain existing relationships.
• Timely request quotes, prepare analytics, and verify invoices from outside vendors.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Able to stand for 8 hours a day.
• Able to bend at the waist repeatedly.
• Mechanically inclined.
