Maintenance Technician

The Role

Fogelman is seeking a Certified Maintenance Technician for Conwood Flats, a multifamily community in the Memphis area. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of the community.

Responsibilities

• Completing all service requests as assigned.
• Completing make-ready units.
• Maintaining and inventorying supplies and equipment.
• Supplying personal tools.
• Cleaning work area, tools, and equipment.
• Assisting in preventive maintenance projects.
• Escalating unresolved service issues to the Service Director.
• Participating in "on call" rotation and responding to emergency calls as needed.
• Communicating positively with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
• Awareness of and adherence to company safety policies.
• Occasional weekend work.

Qualifications and Skills

• Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
• HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Proficient in computer use and online applications.
• Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.
• Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.
