Responsibilities
- Completes all service requests as assigned.
- Completes the care, maintenance, and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
- Serves as the point of contact for residents regarding maintenance issues.
- Assists in preventive maintenance projects.
- Escalates unresolved service issues to the Service Director.
- Participates in "on call" rotation and responds to emergency calls as needed.
- Communicates positively with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
- Operates within company safety policies at all times.
- Performs weekend work as required.
Qualifications
- Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
- HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
- Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair.
- Proficient in use of computers and online applications.
- Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.
Skills
- Strong constant finger and hand dexterity with ability to grasp/turn, touch, feel, and reach.
- Strong sensory skills such as good eyesight, good hearing; ability to comprehend and speak.
