Responsibilities
- Aid in setting up ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems and carry out necessary repairs.
- Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure their proper functioning.
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs as needed.
- Perform manual repairs when necessary, including fixing locks, replacing windows, etc.
- Carry out pest control activities such as spraying insecticide.
- Undertake general upkeep procedures and other tasks as directed.
- Keep grounds and landscaping in excellent condition.
- Assist in preparing budgets and ensure adherence to them.
- Perform mowing, weeding, and hedge trimming, along with preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment.
Requirements
- Physically capable of manual labor involving lifting, bending, and reaching.
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate and work as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- High regard for quality and self-motivation.
- Basic understanding of plumbing and other systems.
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Building maintenance technology or relevant field experience preferred.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification desired.
