Maintenance Technician

About the role

Fives Group, established in 1812, is an industrial engineering group headquartered in Paris, France. It designs and supplies machines, process equipment, and production lines for major industrial sectors including aluminum, steel, tube and pipe, glass, automotive, aerospace, logistics, cement, and energy.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance and service for each piece of equipment, machinery, buildings, and systems.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Inspect equipment regularly for signs of malfunctions.
• Complete repairs and parts replacement.
• Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
• Complete written record of work performed.
• Work effectively with other associates in the plants.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical machinery & equipment.
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended period of time and work at elevated heights in plants.
• Successful trade or vocational school completion in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Able to read and understand relevant drawings and schematics.
