Maintenance Technician

About the role

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician proficient in diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards and effective communication within the team.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze work progress, ensure safety compliance, and manage contractors.
• Perform preventive maintenance, manage spare parts, and support shift handovers.
• Facilitate maintenance best practices and ensure accurate data management.
• Identify areas for improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Cook with H&S for safety compliance and investigate accidents.
• Manage scrap materials disposal and collaborate on equipment changes.
• Support Environmental Management System implementation and compliance.
• Ensures a correct and complete handover of the activities with the next shift RMT.
• Support in the spreading of maintenance best practices.
• Guarantees the correctness of the data upload into SAP PM.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Two to three years' experience in an industrial plant environment.
• A two-year Technical Degree preferred.
• A strong mechanical understanding.
• The ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• A flexibility to work weekends, holidays, variable shifts, and overtime.

Pay

Pay Scale Range: $32.47/hr - $36.93/hr

Schedule

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, variable shifts, and overtime.
