Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair equipment including overhead cranes, conveyors, heaters, pumps, and hydraulics
- Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance
- Support rapid breakdown recovery and identify root causes
- Maintain work orders, parts tracking, and failure documentation
- Improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime
- Provide fabrication and welding support as needed
Requirements
- 2-4+ years in heavy industrial maintenance
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with motors, drives, PLC basics, and 480V systems
- Hydraulics and mechanical systems knowledge
- Overhead crane experience preferred
- Ability to work in high heat, dusty, zinc-exposure environments
- Self-sufficient and able to prioritize during downtime
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
Skills
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- PLC basics
- Hydraulics and mechanical systems knowledge
- Overhead crane experience
