Maintenance Technician

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Performing PMs on all injection molding machines and equipment.
• Changing oil and filters on molding presses.
• Inspection of all electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components.
• Maintain safety features on equipment.
• Maintain records on repairs and PMs to meet the requirements of the maintenance department.
• Perform any other plant PM or repairs to include: Lighting, Auxiliary equipment, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness standards always per Housekeeping Responsibilities.
• Absorb and assist manufacturing as required.
• Utilize safety equipment always, as appropriate for the work being performed.
• Actively participates in the safety program.
• Completes special projects assigned by the Facility Engineering and Maintenance Manager.

Education and Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A vocational or technical school certification in a relevant trade (e.g., HVAC, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance) is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a Maintenance Technician role is required.
