About the role
Essex Meadows is seeking a Hospitality Focused Maintenance Technician to join their team. The position is based in Essex, CT.
Responsibilities
- Maintain residential painting schedule.
- Maintain the esthetics of high traffic common areas.
- Perform drywall repairs as needed.
- Perform minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry work.
- Perform record keeping tasks associated with work orders.
- Perform general labor under supervisor’s request.
- Perform snow removal duties when necessary.
- Avoids emergency situations as needed.
- Assist Lead Mechanic and P.M. Mechanic as needed.
- Keep repair parts inventory up to date.
Requirements
- High School diploma.
- Previous experience in senior living or healthcare setting is highly desired.
- Previous Plumbing/HVAC experience preferred.
Qualifications
- All new hires must be able to pass a preemployment screening process, including a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test, and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
