Maintenance Technician
About the role
The Maintenance Technician position at Griner Gardens in Nashville, GA is seeking a self-motivated individual with experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. The ideal candidate should have HVAC certification with at least three years of Maintenance Technician experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including appliance repair, water heater repair, electrical fixture repair, sink repair, commode repair, and basic carpentry work.
- Apply specialized skills in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance.
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in managing the facility.
- Complete work orders and forms to ensure proper documentation of maintenance equipment operations.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and standards.
Qualifications
- HVAC certification
- At least 3 years of Maintenance Technician experience
- Ability to move heavy equipment safely
- Available for emergency maintenance calls 24/7
- Normal work hours are typically 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday (may vary based on season)
- Overtime may be required occasionally
