Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Approach all tasks with a safety first mindset, protecting the well-being of yourself and your team.
• Optimize equipment and machinery performance through the maintenance and preventative processes prescribed, with limited autonomy.
• Partner with the production team to address and quickly respond to equipment failures and problem resolution.
• Provide support to field engineering services for installation and maintenance at customer sites.
• Facilitate continuous improvement through the implementation of best practices.
• Machine troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Metal fabrication/welding/Pipe fitting.

Requirements

• Highest level of education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend schematics and blueprints; electrical and mechanical.
• One to three years of experience with functionality/programming in installation of temperature controls is preferred.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
• Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting, repetitive motion bending and stretching, and standing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion, with assistance.
• Solid mechanical and/or electrical working knowledge required.
• Minimum of three years maintenance experience with machinery in a production environment.

• Valid driver’s license is required.

Pay

Starting rate is from $32+/hr. Higher rates would depend upon experience.

Schedule

Hours are 500 am to 130 pm with some flexibility. There is a $1.25/hr shift differential for all hours worked between 5 pm and 5 am. Some overtime as needed. Occasional travel to customer locations as required.
