About the role
Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. Serving two primary markets – passenger vehicle and commercial truck equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with shift supervision to maintain a maximum of 3% downtime for unscheduled maintenance and mold changes
- Maintain communication, both verbal and written work orders, to keep shift and maintenance supervisor informed of completed mold changes, PMs, materials used or needed, and scheduled downtime requirements
- Always keep production equipment and maintenance area clean and orderly
- Take direction from Production Supervisors in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor (off-shifts)
- Perform job duties without direct supervision
- Take training classes to improve knowledge and understanding
- Work on off shifts
- Work overtime when needed
Qualifications
- Two (2) + years experience in an industrial position and/or related formal training required
- Industrial Maintenance Certificate preferred
- PLC and electronics experience preferred
- Ability to drive a forklift and use a hand lift
- Ability to use hand tools, amp probes, multimeter
- Troubleshooting ability
Skills
Knowledge in the following industrial disciplines is required to troubleshoot and maintain computerized injection molding presses and the associated equipment:
