Maintenance Technician

Requirements

• Carry out preventative maintenance of mechanical equipment during storage.
• Maintain equipment as per specifications and standards.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, designs and maintenance manuals
• Periodical inspections on mechanical equipment in storage
• Periodical reporting of preventative maintenance activities to supervisor
• Document and accurately record faults or problems, prepare required information for reporting purposes
• Support the ordering of any products or equipment components and complete any preservation maintenance activities on associated equipment
• Use of a wide variety of hand, portable, and stationary power tools
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements

Qualifications

• Experience in safe in-plant maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in construction and or operational maintenance
• High school diploma
• NCCER Millwright preferred
